Major commute problems in our area.
A twin bridge between MO and IL, over the Miss. River, has some structural problems on the westbound span and will be closed for at least a week. This is south of the downtown bridges by a several miles.
Racer, in his travels, might have passed over it going one direction or the other.
2013 westbound shot coming from my daughter's house in IL with a K-01, no k3 needed.

Racer once posted a photo taken from the cab of Monstro crossing the JB Bridge westbound at speed

Ah, the Ford 8N.

The exhaust has cadmium plating, which has a silver appearance.

Uff da!

Guy was one tough dude. Imagine using a pocket knife to cut your own leg off.

Ow.

Imitating a Minnesotan, Mr. Racer? That's the 48th sexiest American accent.

Looks like the place I have lived for the past 30 years (Yooperland - AKA/ Michigan's Upper Peninsula) ranks 14th. Off curse not all off us spik like dat, eh? But we must have some inflections in our speech as we are often mistaken for Canadians when we go to Europe - probably to the annoyance of Canadians we have met when travelling.

We now winter in Texas (number one on the sexy speech list), so maybe we will pick up enough to charm the Yoopers when we return.

Reminds me of the hiker in Utah, back in '03, that cut off his arm to free it from a 1K lb. boulder.
Pinned down for 5 days.
