Yes, we have a Papa Murphy's.
What we don't have is a variety of restaurants from which you can be assured of good food AND decent service. In fact, we have two. A local Mexican restaurant, and Burger King.
Anyplace else is a crap shoot.
So Tokyo Japanese Restaurant not OK? I know, quite a ways to good fresh fish, but it can be flash frozen and flown in.
And I see not one but two Italian joints. Surely one of them has to have good Italian food, just like mama used to make.
Just a quick search got about 50 places to eat. There has to be more than one good walk in dinner place and a fast food trough.
I see there is a Perkins. That was one of the few restaurants of that type that I would stop at when I drove big trucks. Predictable, palatable, filling, and decent prices.
How about Grey Goose Store And Social Club? Looks like a good place to get a bacon cheeseburger and a beer.
Pure Bliss Cupcake Company. Pure bliss, eh?
The Cattlemans Club Steakhouse. I like a good steak. Wrapped in bacon.
The Longbranch looks like a place that Jim would have liked. They have chicken fried steak with gravy. Yeah, Jim would like that.
Mad Mary’s Steakhouse And Saloon. Sounds like my kind of place. I like steak, wrapped in bacon, and a good beer with it. So, is Mary really mad?
I see the Silver Spur over on the ‘other side’ of the river. Looks good enough for chicken and jo jos, with a beer.
Same for Jake’s Goodtime Place. Is it always a good time there?
The Chuckwagon. Another feedbag joint, I bet.
Caribou Coffee. @MarkJerling would be right at home, sporting his best Lycra and quaffing a cuppa joe.
Drifters Bar And Grill. Menu looks awesome. And, the serve beer.
I’m thinking I wouldn’t starve in that little prairie town. No sir.
