Sounds like you qualify, Racer.

Back from getting my ears lowered, thought you'd all like to know.

Asbestos has been outlawed.

Of course I know that.

Even in things of which to be disposed. Remember the story of the French aircraft carrier which was being taken to the subcontinent to be broken up on one of those beaches where they crash old ships. Then someone discovered asbestos in it and said you cannot send it there, so they scuttled it somewhere in the Atlantic. Guess it saved on the charges by the towing contractor, except they probably had a breach of contract condition that required they be paid anyway.

Well I gotta tell you, it wasn't easy.

In fact, it is still a daily challenge, but somehow I mange to get through each day, and then wake up the next day, ready to kick some ass again.

Not an easy feat for a guy with the use of only one foot.

That is terrible!

I dismays me greatly how so many people treat the Earth as if it has endless resources, and as if it is not the fragile blue and green ball we call home.

Interesting cup. Where from? Not a Chinese tea cup, is it?
No, it's a small espresso cup. One of the three I keep at work for my daily coffees. I would guess it's a bit small for a tea cup. Unless the Chinese tea cups are this small?

Did you give the buyer the key and/or code?
Yes. Both keys. Considering the thing was both drill proof and fire proof it would have been a bit unkind to leave it there as an ornament. There was also a small concealed handgun safe in the master bedroom. Obviously provided keys for that too.

No, you'll bend those puny little forks right off. Plus, you need to get the forks in under the thing first - and that's nearly impossible unless you come equipped with steel wedges you can hammer in underneath to lift it enough to get the forks in.

Chinese tea cups are about 15-20% the size of an English tea cup. Often rather smaller than espresso cups, and round with no handle.

I may be swerving away from bacon. Lately I have been into beef jerky. I can get 16 ounces (454 grams) of Jack Links beef jerky for $11. Am I committing heresy?
The bacon gods will forgive you.

Look at tbe positive, Racer. Man can't destroy the earth. Before we could do so much environmental damage that the planet couldn't recover it would become uninhabitable and we'd die out.

Neither.
One of Mrs Bob's lifelong friends is a hairdresser, I think they're called now, used to be beautician.
She's been cutting my hair for about 35 years, well before it turned silver.
