Good morning tout le monde. Very exciting day yesterday as I saw interested parties tramping through our home during an open house. Someone must have fallen under my or the houses charm as we now have a conditional offer!! Yay!! So bacon and eggs in celebration this morning, and then it is off to the not_just_tires_canadian_store to purchase a helmet for the missus. Yes, the side-by-side will get muddied today. Enjoy your day all.
Good afternoon! And good news - on all accounts. Next weekend it's our turn to have people tramping through our home. Exciting times. Or maybe it's just exhausting times. Or both. All I know is that the days are too short and that piles of money change hands.

And why the confusion? Just ask her the next time you pop over for tea.

Watching the USA vs Chile women's No Hands game until the exciting Cardinals vs Mets baseball game starts.
USA up 3-0.

I saw that too.

But the rain delayed truck series race from Iowa is on now, so, there is balance in Racer's house yet again.

I just hope there were no injuries.

The last thing Charlie needs is a lawsuit over injuries sustained by the fall of people who are potential buyers of the home. Wouldn't want to negate the profit from the sale by the settlement for damages.

Ow, I managed to stumble into the D&G section. I feel a bit unwell.

Even my phone's autocorrect took a hit. In the above sentence it converted "managed" to "menace" and "into" to "intolerance"

Here in the U.S. we try to idiot-proof everything. There are two basic obstacles to that:
1. There are far too many idiots.
2. You can't make anything safe from a truly determined and dedicated idiot. (think Tide Pods challenge)

As it should be everywhere.

People shouldn’t have to be told the stove is hot, don’t touch.

Or stay back from the edge, a fall will kill you.

Or don’t drink petrol, because you will become very ill and die a horrible death.

Stupidity weeds the idiots out of the gene pool, although many times these Darwin Award winners have already produced offspring, further extending a branch of the human family tree yet again for the entertainment of the rest of us.

Take solace in knowing that we extract immense entertainment value from the people and their stupidity.
