Two years?

You're too young to be retiring.

We live about 45 miles Northeast if Seattle now. We are looking in an area about halfway between Seattle and Portland, so about 100 to 150 miles or so from where we are now, so not far really.

We're looking for a similar sized piece of property, with a newer house and a shop. It will be rural, just like our current place, but will not be on a shared private road, rather it will be accessed directly form a county road.

Mrs Bob is on her garden club's yearly tour list this year for the first time.
Son, daughter and her hubby spent the day helping do some much needed tidying and cleaning up around the outside of our house.
Mulching, power washing, raking, burning accumulated dead branches, etc.
We feel so blessed and thankful.

Mrs. Racer 1.0 and I got frisky in the snow once. We were house sitting a mountain cabin for some friends while they partied in Cancun. There was a hot tub, and about three feet of snow.

Both were a theater for our frolicking about. And just about everywhere else in the house.

One of the few fond memories I have of my time with her.

*sigh*

Well, I have. Sorry

Here's an image from the summery mountains of Norway this afternoon. The weather changes every ten minutes, so fairly stable.

Oh, and it's not taken with a K-3!

Summer? What's that?
We are about 3 months behind the weather curve here.
I'm considering moving to a drier climate such as the Everglades, Corpus Christy, Western Olympic Peninsula, etc.
This year it rains once a week here. It starts about 1a.m. Sunday mornings and ends late on Saturday evenings. On the plus side, it isn't snowing every day like it did January through April.
Have I ever mentioned that I have come to hate it here?

Maybe a time or twelve.
More rain than we need here too, our lawn might need to be baled once it's dry enough for our lawn guy to mow.

Beautiful weather here the last couple of days... Actually, for the North East of England we've had a pretty decent spring and not a bad start to summer, all told - although we've had quite a bit of rain (welcome to the UK, folks ). No beach visits yet, but a few nice drives and walks into rural parts, and a second very nice visit to Beamish Museum a couple of days ago. I got the lawn out back mowed today, and my Dad did the small patch of lawn out front with his electric mower. I might give the main lawn another skim tomorrow, just to get that "bowling green" effect Mostly cloudy tomorrow, but little chance of rain, so I might also fire up the BBQ for lunch. Nothing special... just some pork sausages, maybe some bacon-wrapped scallops and a few mushrooms, onions and peppers to go with it. Oh... I just remembered that I have a nice chorizo sausage to use up. Might chop that into chunks and stick that on the BBQ too. Anyway, we won't go hungry

EDIT: The hedghog has been out most nights, prowling around. He came right up to me while I was putting things in my recycling bin. Got quite a shock when he realised I was there, and just stood still. I stroked him gently... he didn't roll up, just looked at me. Very cute
