Dave - are you storing (... "hiding") alcoholic drinks in your laundry, en-suite and main bathrooms? I think we should talk...

We bought our house in 1992 and the former owner built a wet bar in the basement.
There's a small sink and faucet under the counter, but I've never used it.
The pith helmet on the antlers was my dad's fishing hat. The timber rattler skin is from the one ready to strike me, back in my surveying days.
The mounted wood duck was from my late father-in-law. Outboard motor to go with my outdoor theme.
I had a serious Coleman lantern collecting problem at on time, I'm cured now.

Your wet bar is pretty cool bob.

You don’t mention the arrow head collection though.

And you need a few more license plates. Like another Missouri tag with the “Show Me State” slogan, and maybe one from your birth year for every state that existed when you were born.

That's a nice looking bar, indeed. You open? I'll take a Boilermaker, please

Thanks Mike.
No more collecting anything for me, not even things that go on the front of a camera.
Most of my artifact collection, all field finds by me, was stolen from the little lake cabin where I lived after my divorce in 1983.
I can do Boilermakers and Bloody Marys, that's about all.

Sorry to hear that, Bob

Ah, the venerable Bloody Mary... or, as I like to call it, "breakfast"

Oh yeah.

Don't forget the fresh and pickled vegetables.

“Fresh pickled” - I thought pickles had had something done to them that made them, by definition, not fresh.

Mind you, I like pickled food.

"Fresh and pickled".

I like fresh celery stalks, maybe a fresh lengthwise sliver or two of carrot, a fresh sliced cucumber spear, and pickled asparagus and string beans, some green olives stuffed with jalapeño, pimento and onion.

I also like to add chopped fresh cilantro, ground pepper, and "grind" some dried marjoram, oregano and rosemary between my thumb and fingers over everything.

A meal in a drink.

Cheers!

You still need some other license plates on the wall.

Like this one:

I think you'll agree the year is about right, eh?

And at least one with the state slogan:

Of course no license plate collection is complete without a Montana "Prison Made" plate.

True.... but I rarely drink in that "bar". Unless while cooking, of course.

Don't drink the aftershave, Dave. Just don't.

Nice! Good to know where I can stay should I be in the neighbourhood.

Yeah, and we've seen that rattler earlier, probably just a few 10,000s of posts ago.

That's one wet bar, then. Just two to go

From Colemans to Webers, then?

Oh. Right. Cured. Right...

I was pretty sure I had posted about my near death by snake experience before.
There are others, without snakes involved.

I was attacked by snakes six or seven years ago... they negotiated my wife's portion of our divorce settlement...
