Cool. What was the purpose of joining two airplanes like that?
I really didn't know anything about it, but found this interesting:
Why Did the F-82 Twin Mustang Exist? | Flite Test

Short answer, long flights and to escort B-29s.

Also as a nightfigther with the "second guy" being a radar operator rather than a second pilot.

A whole page without bacon? Let’s fix this.

note: Yup, that’s a bacon vending machine. What a time to be alive.

He shared a few shots, along with a grill cook, of the planes. I thought some here might like this one of "the just-restored only existing North American XP-82 Twin Mustang."
Not sure the brand of camera he uses, but I'm sure it starts with a C or N. All of his photos are very good, so I guess he doesn't need a k3.
Almost forgot, BACON!
One of the prototypes, then? I imagine they didn't make many of those! Well, I guess they didn't make a whole lot of the production series either.

Twin turbo prop bacon!

As long as there are those who don't choose bacon over a K-3 our work will never be done.
