I know these bacon delicacies are a bit on the upscale side, but heck, everyone needs twenty more ways to cook with bacon!

I can think of someone else who is miles ahead of me, but yeah, I contribute my fair share.

Tripping - or splashing. It's a bit like giant horse droppings.
Horse manure is more dry and nugget like.

Road apples.

Savoche, one of the things kids that lived in the country did for fun was cow tipping. Cows would sleep standing up and the bigger kids would sneak up to one and push it over. I figure the closest thing to a cow where you are would be a cape buffalo. I hear that they are gentle souls and may even appreciate the humor of the situation. A video would be pretty cool.

I shed a few of those in the five years I drove big trucks. Ran over a few too.

Once I hit one from a super single, and it broke the (plastic) bumper on the Guacamole Express.

Strike one on the frozen croissants today... I didn't get to Sainsbury's, but my Mum and Dad went into town and I asked them to pick up a similar product from Morrisons, another local supermarket, but no dice. Looks like I'll have to visit Sainsbury's tomorrow, and delay my croissant-dipping breakfast until Friday

In other news... During heavy rain, I've started to notice water occasionally dribbling down the outside of the flue of my wood-burning stove. Need to get that looked at before winter sets in properly...

Awesome

We have at least one regular hedgehog that enjoys our garden throughout the late spring to early autumn. This year, I have hundreds of trailcam photos of it, plus a couple taken with my Panny bridge camera - even a photo with two hedgehogs together (I suspect they were discussing a possible coupling ). Lovely little creatures...
