Sometimes it's the simplest, most unlikely things that bring pleasure...
I just got back from my grocery shopping at Aldi... There were only a dozen cars in the car park, and the supermarket aisles were as quiet as can be... Managed to do a BIG shop - enough to last me and my folks a couple of weeks; fresh and deli meats, dairy, cheeses, eggs, fresh vegetables and fruit, cereals, bread, chocolate, wine, toiletries... and a couple of boxes of additional food for "Jones", my neighbour's cat
I zipped round in no time at all, didn't have to queue behind anyone at the checkout, had a nice chat with the cute checkout girl while I packed, and spent just GBP £122 (USD $157).
I love it when shopping trips are this easy
