I’m only going in an hour early this week, but yeah, you have the local time correct. I should be rolling out at 3 am, about 10 minutes from now.

Just gotta finish my breakfast and coffee.

Thanks Dave.

Yesterday was day 1, drill day. Today is Day 2, fill day.

Tomorrow is day 3, drill day right hand, Friday is fill day.

Oh, and for the first time in ages, we are working the weekend, both days.

Overtime. Time and a half Saturday, double time Sunday.

Money for Christmas!

Woot! Woot!

I do my best to stay calm, and sit on my hands. Never know if the other driver is the next Charles Manson.

There are plenty of madmen on the roads, aren't there.
I think it a shame that 'they' have legitimised appalling behaviour by giving it a name other than appalling, brutish, thuggery.

Could be done if the re-chargers communicate so you type in when you want your car charged and you get benefit of ‘off-peak’ power prices if you only need you car ready to go in the morning. Pay extra if you need it charged quick. Used to a primitive version of that for off-peak storage water heaters.
Not a viable solution. Get a gas water heater. Then it provides hot water when you need it. No price differential either. How do you pay for highway maintenance on an electric vehicle. E-car users is Oregon screamed bloody murder when a law was was proposed to tax them based upon their annual mileage usage. E-cars are not practical for a large percentage of the population. Take away the tax incentives (another term for corporate welfare) and they become prohibitively expensive. Ever wonder how Elon Musk got so rich running a company that has never turned a profit?

There were trees like that where I lived as a boy in Chesapeake, Virginia. The group of boys I played with called them “itchy ball trees”, and the spiny things “itchy balls”. As we rode our bicycles around we would swing them by the stems.

We called ourselves the “itchy ball gang”.

cheesy

You needed a large nut wizard to gather your ammo.

Sweetgum balls - YouTube
Seeing as how we called them itchy balls, I’m afraid any response to that may get me in trouble.

A bunch of friends and I used to frequently sample the pleasures sold by ladies of the night. We were called "itchy ball gang" too.
