Mmmm...
There has been the odd flare up.
There is fire on the west side of Mt Buffalo, threatened the Buffalo Valley and residents there have been warned they might have to move out.
There is only one other spot in the North East that is at Watch and Act level. But weeks of being alert for everyone in the area still.
In East Gippsland there are a couple of trouble spots but mostly just the need for being alert.
Victoria has some worthwhile rain yesterday in spots, but nowhere near the fires.
I haven't spoken to my friends at Carboor Upper (look that one up) for a day or two, but she has gone back to work and he is probably still driving around on a bulldozer or perhaps in his slip-on watering the perimeters.

Meanwhile, round one is nearing completion. Half the MoviPrep has been consumed, now I just need it to be gone so I can get some sleep.

I haven't been futher east than Geelong ,and at least 20 yrs since I drove from Sydney to Melboune then home
The Mount Buffalo Forest is what 40 klms away from you .?
