I have 4 Stihl chainsaws, thank you for asking....all work like the day I purchased them - STIHL009; O44, 66O, 88O , I do like Huskys but the garage is full at this time... plus my investment in carbide chains limits the Husky option as their bar gauge is different than what I run...

Hi

It's a long established rule in this thread that, in order to post here, you need to read all previous posts and sit a 473 question test. Tests are on Fridays, behind the shed, at neveroclock.

Have a wonderful day.

Kind regards,
Mark

PS: Just joking. The test is real easy. The correct answer to near every question is "bacon".
I have read every single post, Mark. Nothing else for me to add....

Guys, obviously we shut it down here. Random chatting is not worthwhile, we'd be much better off speculating about new things by Ricoh and demanding we get what we want over in the News and Rumours
Random chatting is just that, chatting. Please use the rumors section for that, as that is what it was designed for. Please correct me if I have not understood that correctly....

Congratulations on adding another topic to our blithering list. May I also commend your post on the Nine Texans as being in the very spirit of this thread. Bertwert, bless his reeking home-made haggis, has yet to come near such inspiration! I have to ask, are chainsaws good for slicing bacon?

Careful, I spent a number of years keeping them flying and they have a special place in my heart. Well it's more like a few twinges and aches as I get older to remind me of my youth.....

And rightly so, since a majority of the workers are fat, in spite of the trikes, and really wouldn't look too attractive in Lycra.
Every year before the tour down under, the street and country roads of Adelaide are filled with MAMIL's, Middle Aged Men In Lycra.......

Having spent the majority of my life as a mechanic I have learned that careful selection of the proper tools is paramount for every job.

So, even if a chainsaw could be used to slice bacon, it wouldn’t do the best work.

Indeed, a proper knife, expertly sharpened and honed will produce perfect slices of delicious bacon. I bet that Bob could elaborate on knife choices here.

And that, kids, is why you should always ask a grown up first!!

They don't even know the concept of legs - or at least the airlines don't. None of them seem aware of the fact that most passengers actually have legs

Now, that is cool

But legs are foldable. They have standard bending positions. Knee. Hip. Ankle.

That something could fly at ridiculous speed down among the grasshoppers. The Blackburn Buccaneer, a seriously capable low-level fighter bomber, well remembered and much loved by those lucky enough to have seen them fly.

Sort of. Sisu is more of a stoic, dogged, stubborn, spit-the-devil-in-the-eye, quiet resilience and determination. I have seen it defined as "starting where grit and perserverance end".

There's a racing adapted version somewhere in here

Yeah, and the airlines' definition of the distance from hip to knee is 12 cm. I don't have jointed thigh bones.

No, I won't pay the price they charge for decent leg room up front.
