Good to hear I'm not the only one

No nasal joys here, though. Just the plain ol' migraine. First a 24 hour one, then an 12 hour break, then another 12 hour bout. Yay.

Quite exhausting, really.

As I recall, this thread was shut down for awhile, then someone, can't remember who, resurrected it, more or less, in another thread.
The powers that be came to their senses and opened The Thread again.

or maybe I just dreamed all of that.
It happened. It was shut down. Norm started an "Orphans of WIWBAK3" (or somesuch) thread that was later merged into this when it was reopened.

I believe Tokyo was hit by earthquakes at that time.

You'll make a fine Norwegian. You just have to trade your pipes for an eight (or nine) string fiddle.

Like this one.

This girl's much better at playing it, though.

I thought it was Norm, but don't trust my memory, and neither should anyone else.

About that other subject, all I'll say is there's at least 9 Texans with poor reading comprehension skills.
Anyone reading the first post by our founding father, bless his heart, would see this thread is not a bona fide review for the camera he mentions.
Nuff said on that subject.

Indeed, a proper knife, expertly sharpened and honed will produce perfect slices of delicious bacon. I bet that Bob could elaborate on knife choices here.
I tried a chainsaw on a slab of ribs once, not a pretty sight.

For bacon, I like the vintage wood handled 10" Henckels I picked up for a song at an estate sale.

So, even if a chainsaw could be used to slice bacon, it wouldn’t do the best work.

And that, kids, is why you should always ask a grown up first!!
That said, when you use a chainsaw, you end up with slices and bacon paté. Very nice on Triskets.

One thing I learned from working at a State Park beach is that no matter the tool you use, you can always find... "Alternative" uses for it.

Yes I did.

The question is, did Bert notice it?

Yes, it’s the automotive equivalent of calling “Hey bear“ while hiking through grizzly country, the idea being the critters hear you coming and stay away. Whether this plate is effective in deterring Berts while driving should be properly researched. Results (or Police notices) to be published in this thread.

Quite a few of my MAMIL friends from here are around Adelaide at the moment.
