No, luckily they contacted me yesterday morning just before I started my prep. I promptly made myself a coffee and breakfast
So, did you say; "Ahhhh dang!", or "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!"?

Two phone calls this morning to our home phone.
The ID said they were from me and showed our home number.
I didn't answer either one, didn't feel like talking to myself.

Sounds like a phishing scam.

Oh, and how much snow did you get today? I saw on the weather report it was coming down at about 3:30 am your time.

You may be missing out on a treat. I get calls about the motor accident I was involved in where I was not to blame and have a ploy in mind when answering. I may be 103 years old with quavery speech or perhaps I’m a terrified teenager who pranged his dad’s car just that morning. There’s been a lot of accidents lately, which one do they mean, or perhaps a terrible accident on a building site decapitated me and the surgeon botched reattaching my head so it’s facing the wrong way. I never have to hang up, the mystery caller invariably saves me the trouble.

Only about an inch, most of it has melted, thankfully.

Only an inch, eh? Bummer.

We had a little dusting Monday morning, but it was gone by noon.

So disappointing.

Finally, a company that understands the needs of its costumers. I present you the "Snackin' Bacon", soon available at your nearest Dunkin Donuts.

I’m heading to a rewarding location this morning and watching the snow showers blow in over snow-capped mountains nearby. The downside is it’s for work, the upside is the camera bag and tripod are with me. Fingers (and legs, and eyes) crossed!

For a while I asked the mystery caller, always a woman with an uneducated accent, to tell me what information she had about said accident. She was always too lazy to tell me.

A line I found that seems to get them to hang up is: "why do you work for a scam?"

Yesterday I went to London. I saw a lot of people of all ages and many ethnicities walking about with an ashen cross on their forehead. They had been to church services for the start of Lent (Ash Wednesday) where part of the service is to apply that mark. This was in the central part of London around The Strand, and Holborn.
