Did you read the whole story.

They closed the race because of the risk of a mob of spectators all together.

So they waited until the ticket holders had been lined up at the gate, as a large group, for 2 hours before they sent someone around to announce it had been cancelled.

Many complaints abut the method.
All I know is that I won't be watching any racing for a month or so.

How can I be Racer if there isn't any racing?

How?

Do they still do that biathlon event? You know, ski umpteen miles then stop and, er, play some tunes on the bagpipes, ski some more, play a different set of tunes, ski to the finish. I never got to see that for reel....
They still do the Ski to Sea.

Ski to Sea Race - Wikipedia

But who knows, that may be cancelled too.

No more spring training baseball, and a delayed, at the very least, start to regular season.
No worries, Mrs Bob has about a gazillion hours of HGTV on the recorder.......UGH!

The guy ranted a U-Haul truck, did a 1300miles road trip across Tennessee and Kentucky and emptied every drugstore on his way.
There should be a law against this.

PSA, If you will be out and about and think you might use a public restroom, best to have a few folds of TP in your pocket.
I'm betting the rolls in public facilities are being stolen on a regular basis.

I have noticed in public dunnies that often people use huge amounts and dump it in the bowl, with the effect that it blocks, or at least does not flush properly.

I have thought a solution to that problem would be to charge for using TP, not for using the dunny. It would still be free to use if one brings one’s own TP. And people would have no temptation to use damagingly too much. Women in some Far East countries I have been to seem unfazed by this method. One actually let old grannies sit at the door with a micro business selling sheets of TP. And because the old granny is there they seem not to suffer from vandalism because even vandals are too embarrassed to vandalise where there is a real person nearby.

With everybody home I'm thinking "Cannonball Baker Sea to Shining Sea Memorial Trophy Dash". If not that, I80 of I94 should be pretty awesome.

I was looking through old pictures and found some from my rodeo career 25 years ago

Apologies for the poor quality. They were taken by a fellow backpacker with a Canon compact of some kind. Scanned from prints.
