Yes, like the wiki said.

But it is marketed as something special, for cooking (among other things) and curing meats.
Yup. Just salt. Ordinary salt works for curing, but not as well as the other stuff.

Brakes are highly overrated. Hence my bicycle downhill speed of near 90km/h.

Six weeks?!?!?!?

Y'all are pretty hardcore over there.

Just starting my two week "vacation" from The Big Shed. If they don't call and change the game, we all go back into production 8 April.
I can almost guarantee you that it will be more than weeks.

Pfft. Top speed on skis is near 120... as they don't have brakes full stop.

Though only got to around 60 on XC skis, and 45 odd on roller skis:

The forum obviously decided I was posting too much spam or something.

I thought that maybe it was down. But after 24 hours, I thought maybe it was me as no mention on social media. Reset my IP and here I am!

It seemed like a really long time with this staying at home thing...

120 on skis! You better hope it's powder and not ice when you fall off!

Yeah, way too fast for my liking, and I won't be doing that again.

I was on a freshly groomed slope well off to the side of the mountains which sees very little traffic. It's quite steep, then levels off into the flats. At the top I just said 'what the heck' and pointed my skis straight down. As I picked up speed they were starting to chatter a bit and then more and more. I didn't dare turn or try to slow down at that speed. And (obviously) free heels too. Falling would not have been good... Anyway, I looked at my GPS watch afterwards and it had hit a top speed of 117 km/h... and it certainly felt like it... I'll stick to the 80kmh or so range for my high speed downhilling...

Happening here too. People are hitting the home improvement stores like crazy. Why not make good use of the time?
