Every morning I wake up with a song stuck in my head. I think it's because I have tinnitus in both ears, yes, even my deaf ear, it helps me keep my mind off the ringing.
Sometimes it's a song I haven't heard in years. The other morning it was Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.
I was very pleased with this morning's selection, Don't Worry Be Happy.
May all of you try not to worry, and be happy.
Don't happy, be worried.

The forum obviously decided I was posting too much spam or something.

I thought that maybe it was down. But after 24 hours, I thought maybe it was me as no mention on social media. Reset my IP and here I am!

It seemed like a really long time with this staying at home thing...
It still doesn't like me... had to go get my IP unblocked...

Suicide straps as they're affectionately called. Still common on and off piste for tele skiers. Mandatory on many hills if you don't have brakes.

If had a good fall with them helicoptering and hitting my head. Luckily it wasn't backcountry, so I was wearing a helmet.
You were obviously a better skier than me

On reflection... it's good to take breaks from the forum... but does it have to be when I'm self-isolating at home?

Well, I grew up and learned to ski at one of the most extreme ski hills in North America...

Whenever I hear the phrase 'don't worry' this is the song that comes to mind:

I went to Breckenridge and surrounding areas for a couple of weeks and suffered from the altitude. Somehow acquired a blister on my eardrum as well which caused a strange echo effect. Breckenridge Brewery was very acceptable though.

Is it a socioeconomic thing? I know many of the Northern suburbs are pretty affluent, but the couple of times I was in Sydney I didn't pay much attention to whether there was an apparent difference in people visiting Bondi and Manly.
Yep, I quite like the suburb of Bondi. Despite being an eastern suburb, it's not reached the status yet of some of the others and it's a bit like St Kilda in my home city of Melbourne, a bit bohemian still, and has (or had) its share of international backpackers.

Median house price in Manly is (or was!) just under $3 million.

The St Kilda Amusement Park is like stepping back 50 years into the past. Very cool.

Hi Mr Fox

Because ....... they are New South Welshmen / Sydneysiders ..

Yeah, I wish I could say Melbourne was a lot better, but it's not great, either.

Both cities are regularly top five in The Economist best places in the world to live (I think Melbourne actually topped it five times in a row or some such), but the price of housing is a definite negative.

More than 100! Supposedly some of the Coney Island designers were involved back in 1912. I took this with the Sigma 12-24mm on the K-1. That's a guy from the same walkabout photoshoot in the foreground, nice bloke, but can't remember his name.

But at least the houses in Manly are three times the size as those here, for the same money.

Oh, and the houses in Manly normally come with a proper place to put the car. The ones here have street parking in streets where more resident and residents guest parking permits are issued than there are parking spaces.
