My brother in law has played the drums for almost 60 years. In high school he was in a few bands. One of the band members went on to hit it big. Back them his name was Lou Grammatico.

Well there is a reason that those two instruments were placed about as far away as they could be on this planet.
Yep, then the English went and shipped a bunch of rebellious Scots down there and mixed emotions together... hehehehe

And English criminals, whose descendants now take it as a badge of honour that their ancestors took a government furnished overseas holiday.

Some states were started by free people. DBS and I come from a state that started as a company to settle and build business.

Here's some more good music, two sort of pipes combined

Anyone thinking of bringing digeridoos to the Edinburgh Tattoo this summer? Tough, we’re in lockdown. (although the thought of massed digeridoo bands has a horror all its own)

What about a lone didgeridoo player on the top of the tower?

With all this HooHaw stay-at-home work going on I decided to stay out of the “office” and do normal stuff this weekend. Yesterday mrs monochrome and I took a drive to the local Bison and Elk Refuge (Lone Elk for @robtcorl ) and the place was packed with mad claustrophobes.

It is nearly April, so in a quest to be normal, today I:
  1. Swept, mopped and debugged the screened porch and raised the storm windows
  2. Moved all the plants from their winter indoor corners out to the screened porch.
  3. Uncovered and cleaned the Grill and refreshed the charcoal bucket
  4. Put out the Patio furniture
  5. Installed a Wind Chain on the new front Storm Door
  6. Re-hung a shutter that had blown off in the near-cyclone last night (see Wind Chain above)
  7. Swapped out the heavy winter clothes for the lighter spring clothes
  8. Took a nap
There - I feel better. Almost normal.

I'm glad you feel better. I feel exhausted just reading about all the house work you did in one day.

We also learned Saturday morning that our older daughter’s car was destroyed in a baseball sized hailstorm in Jefferson City. She had parked outside her apartment out of fear the garage where she rents a space would be locked down since her employer has sent all staff to work-at-home. Many of her acquaintances and work associates are in a similar situation. The insurance company will cut her a check on-site, but have no idea when an adjuster can get there.

It’s better than Jonesboro, AR, for sure.
