Originally posted by gaweidert Four kids here too. Four was easier than two. By then the older ones help out and they form their own little mob and are not constantly looking to mom and dad for entertainment. Do it all again too. Even with more. Nothing like a house full of chaos. When the last one left the silence was deafening.
We only had two. At the time that was my limit, Annie was keen on three. I'm sorry to admit I was wrong. (That's something you don't hear me say very often.)
With one out of the house and the other to leave at the end of this year it would have been good to have more running about. We did talk about adoption as that's the only option remaining now, but adoption is in the seriously too hard basket in NZ.
We do sponsor a few kids through World Vision. Hopefully, that makes a difference to their lives.
