It may be for them, but here in the old world it's the 4th already, and I wanted to fire that one off before going to bed

Good night.

I made 344 exposures of hummingbirds feeding and fighting yesterday. I also made a couple videos, this one, 3:51 long, and another, about 25 minutes. They are back in force, after having been almost completely absent for the past week.

Kind of weird how the camera followed the swaying of the feeder. The image sensor must be trying to keep it from being blurry by moving it with the shake reduction system even though I had it switched off.

I could sit and watch those little buggers fight all day.

Although I have never been shy of bootlegging some Cubans now and again. Cohiba are the best.

Scottish music and no bagpipes

Sorry Bert, if there was a piper then he/she was drowned out for the majority of the performance. The marvellous Phil Cunninghame and Aly Bain with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in a concert for St Andrew's Day:–

This morning's breakfast concoction by Bob was a winner!
Angel food cake slices browned in butter, topped with Nutella, peanut butter, and bacon. The only possible improvement would be thin banana slices.

I'm not quite sure about your definition of 'no bagpipes'....
I can clearly here and see one:

Anyways there's plenty of good Scottish music without bagpipes
