This morning's breakfast concoction by Bob was a winner!
Angel food cake slices browned in butter, topped with Nutella, peanut butter, and bacon. The only possible improvement would be thin banana slices.

I'm not one to have bacon with sweet stuff, but I'd give those a try.

As far as my breakfast, there's nothing quite like honey (fetched from the bees yesterday) and fresh home baked bread.

I know that this isn't a photo thread per se, but I did an incredibly stupid thing yesterday.

I realised that I hadn't backed-up my photos for the last two weeks, therefore the only copies being on my computer's hard drive.
Anyways, as I was backing them up, I was deleting a temporary folder, and ended up deleting the wrong folder. Which was the folder on my computer with all my photos of 2020.
Luckily only two weeks was lost there (the rest was previously backed up), and I managed to recover several files. The jpegs are a lost cause, as they're mixed in with several thousand web images that were recovered from a temp directory and deleted browser caches. But luckily it looks like most of the raw files are still there, with hundreds of duplicates somehow. I have a bit of sorting to do there, nothing super important was lost, though some nice shots that I was going to put up on the forum and such seem to have gone. As well as all the file data in Darktable, so I'll need to start from scratch with editing. Oh well. Don't be stupid and delete your photos folks!

Generally, no, but sentences can be constructed so that they coexist.
For example:
Bagpipes are to music what cheese-Whiz is to cheese.
or
Bagpipes are the durian of musical instruments.

Good bacon is cured using brown sugar, or honey. So it should pair well with sweet stuff.

Indeed, candied bacon is awesome. Find a recipe and make some.

You're welcome.

Durian, the timber to be used for window frames and interior woodwork after mercantile was banned in Australia.

Funny I was thinking about that today.

BTW: they grow great fruit on the tree. Great as in size, and great is an expression of my view of the taste. And only odiferous when left in the waste for a few days, as is like many other foods. Ever been in the back lane behind a row of restaurants.

Indeed it does. Maple iced doughnuts in particular.

I Googled it but came up with nothing related to wood or woodworking.

I'm not quite sure about your definition of 'no bagpipes'....I can clearly here and see one:
I must have come in late for the concert then, you can thank t'missus for spotting it was to be streamed. We saw McBain and Cunningham live many years ago in an outdoor concert for Burns celebrations. It was at the time of the 5- or 6-planet conjunction and I could see at least four in the evening sky as the shindig got under way.

Germans aren't generally familiar with Durian:

A suspect package sent six people to the hospital and caused an evacuation -- its contents turned out to be some very smelly fruit

'Six ambulances, five first-responder cars and two emergency vehicles attended the incident. Three different fire departments were also involved.'

I wonder if it was an autocorrect for "Meranti" or "Merbau"? (Unsustainable forestry and all that.)
