This is the only peanut butter to have.

No salt.

No added anything.

Just pure, chunky, ground up peanuts.

And for those who can't hack the chunky kind, they make it in creamy too.

Goes well mixed with raw honey, as a dip for candied bacon.

You're all welcome.

I can't see the image. We sometimes make our own peanut butter in a Vitamix with nothing added and very nice it is.

When it comes to peanut butter I prefer crunchy. Which reminds me, in the UK you can get Marmite flavoured peanut butter.
Crunchy ? I dunno, crunchy may break a tooth. Crunchy sounds like popcorn mixed in smooth peanut butter.

That actually sounds good, I wonder if I should patent that new food idea.

Back in the very late '70's , a friend of mine gave me a jar of a locally made peanut butter. It was completely and only ground from peanuts with nothing added. It was called Nutty Club (company name) Peanut Butter and it was very good.

I should check it out and see if it is still made. If so a a jar or two, might be in order.

Too labor intensive, I don't like having to stir up the natural stuff.

Does it pair well with bacon?

Price ($ 6.99) sounds ok, as long as that is Canadian dollars. If it was $ 6.99 USD..... I might have to float a loan as the U.S. dollar right now, is worth more than the Canadian dollar.

Edit: Just checked and Adams is available in Canada at Walmart.. There is a Walmart about a kilometer from our place and that is closer than Whistler...

Well, it's food, so I would assume it pairs well with bacon.

Vegemite....I had to look that up. I've never had it, but I don't think I'd like it.
It's an acquired taste that I haven't fully acquired but I do like a (small) bit of it on occasion.

Isn't it Australian Marmite?
Essentially, yes, but one is thicker than the other and one, to me anyway, is a stronger flavor though I don't remember which is which.

(or, just to irritate Mark, "witch is witch" )

Ah, the good old days. I remember reading a peanut butter label many years ago that said the ingredients were "peanuts and salt".
Trying to find peanut butter (or anything else) today that doesn't have sugar added is nearly impossible. Besides that, most peanut butter has some of the peanut oil drained off and replaced with other vegetable oil. Peanut oil commands a higher price than corn or canola oil because it has more flavor and a higher smoke point.
I guess I'm old enough to remember when almost all food was "natural" or "health food".

I was about to order some Adams from Amazon then I remembered something. I like chunky so, naturally, Mrs. P prefers creamy. What to do, what to do? Nevermind, that was rhetorical.

Your's perhaps. Here in Bugtussle we never know what we're going to get.

A few years back, just after Saint Patrick's day I went to the three grocery stores in town (we only have two now, including Chinamart) to get rye bread to make Reuben sandwiches from the leftover corned beef.
Nope. No such thing. They weren't out; they just didn't carry it.
"Rye bread?!?! Ridiculous. Bread is made from WHEAT! Wheat I tells ya. Wheat.
Anybody out there like eggnog ice cream? Don't come to Pierre. They've never heard of it.
