A 3/4 race cam?

So he never finished a race, did he?
The problem was, he only had enough gas money to finish 3/4 of a race.

Yeah, he could of had a full race cam , but where would he get that kind of money to buy enough gas, to enable him to finish a full race ?

You can tell us who the racer was Les, we believe most anything in this thread!

I'm 6'2" so need leg room in vehicles too. I forgot to mention my daughter's Ford Ka which I swapped off her. Notwithstanding it's silly looks and tiny exterior dimensions, it's actually roomy enough inside for someone of my size.
And it corners like it's on rails. Back seat is useless unless you have no legs. But, since I'm now using Annie's old Mondeo this one had to go.
I remember getting a new 1973 Toyota Corolla....1600cc, 4 cylinder with hemispherical heads. It was a stripper...no extras except for front disc brakes, oversize wheels/tires and the larger 1600cc engine, basic engine was a 1200cc.

So basic that it came with radio delete, rubber floor coverings, etc. Hey back then for me, it was all about power to weight...you know how much floor carpeting in a car weighs ?

After about a week I brought it back to the dealer and asked them to move the seat rails back as far as they could, as the leg cramps were killing me. They did and suddenly the driver's bucket seat had leg room...for me anyways. But essentially it became a 3 passenger vehicle....driver, front passenger, passenger behind front passenger. Leg room on the back passenger seat behind driver's seat, was almost non existent....but I was young and single....what did I care !

That was '73 and after that I had to be careful what I bought after that, because for liability issues in later years, no garage that I found was willing to move the seat rails back...ie; drill new holes in floor, fasten rails and seat in spot where the manufacturer didn't install in the first place.

Geeze indeed !

I had and still have the 3/4 race cam...my ASP-C K5.

But it wasn't enough for me, pure and simple.

So now I got the full race cam...my K1....but even that is not enough and I can't afford a full race ...plus... that would be a 645Z.

Nah..... it will never end.

Once you go full frame, you can never go back.

No, but this one is a re-engined basic model. With a somewhat gruntier engine. So, pretty quick.
I was (a little) sad to see it go. It's a real sleeper.

Lovely car. A friend of mine has a slightly older one, which I've driven a number of times. It handles beautifully.

Got an e-mail from the Google Plus Profile Litigation class action people.

Seems I am part of a class.

And if I submit a claim before October 8, 2020, I get $12.

Something about some personal information I entered into a profile on a Google social circle thing that never really took off.

So I guess I will be getting $12.

I got some other money a couple months back for a class action lawsuit. The VISIO class action lawsuit. I got $17.99. We have two VISIO televisions. Huge things, 55 inches. The first one I got free using the saved points on my credit card. The second one Mrs. Racer's daughter gave to us when she and her husband moved to Florida a couple years ago.

These class action things don't pay much, but as I see it, I got paid $17.99 to watch TV.

That's $17.99 more than I would have had otherwise, eh?

I bet you the lawyer got more than $12. Probably more than $17.99 too.

My parents and siblings were all full frame, andI was heading that way, but I caught it just in time.
