Got an e-mail from the Google Plus Profile Litigation class action people.

Seems I am part of a class.

And if I submit a claim before October 8, 2020, I get $12.

I got the same email but didn't file.

I bet you the lawyer got more than $12. Probably more than $17.99 too.

From the email:

"How will the lawyers be paid?
The attorneys representing the Settlement Class have not yet received any payment for their legal services or any reimbursement of the costs or out-of-pocket expenses they have incurred. Class Counsel plans to ask the Court to award attorneys’ fees from the Settlement Fund not to exceed $1,875,000 which is 25% of the Settlement Fund, and reimbursement of costs and expenses in the approximate amount of $200,000."

P.S. there are 5 bears sited on the Unicorn Hill portage, a mom and three cubs and one travelling on it's own, Tess saw all of them, I didn't see any, luck of the draw I guess. All were non-aggressive.

Nice Norm, I just did a relaxed five day trip with some good friends down Slocan lake a few weeks back. First time I really put the 18-135 to the test, being all I brought .Worked great - even got some amazing portraits, and I'm really not someone to take those. I wish I could share some, but I'm not going to as I don't have their permission. Maybe some of the more landscapey shots - but then my internet is pretty much nonexistent. Here's a typical speedtest result these days:

This is an Alligator. It's an amphibious boat that could haul logs over both land and water. They were steam powered and the boiler, drive shaft, gears and metal frame of the paddle wheels which could also propel the boat on land is what you're looking at. There's one across the bay from where I live in the same condition as the relic. They became obsolete when trucks became big enough and powerful enough to haul logs out of the bush.
