That's OK. I'm sure Australians don't mind!

Now this guy here, he's an old timer.... he's in his 90s and still swinging a squaring axe, one of those lost arts.
That's impressive. We have a bloke here who's deep in his 80's and still runs marathons.

It means you've not been posting lots for some (past) post count competition where one could win a K-1.

I did some post some posts for that. Had my heart set on that prize, but some Kiwi beat me to the punch.

Well yes, there is that and when I think of it, that does give some comfort.

Early this year the 2020 Census started sending stuff to households all over the US. Ours was no exception. Lots of letters and note cards came, all advising us of the coming census, and how not participating is a federal crime.

Finally, the actual census form came.

I dutifully filled it out, and sent it in.

Gotta be counted, you know.

But even after filling out the form, and sending it in, the cards and letters kept coming, warning us that failure to participate is a federal crime, and would also result in some employee of the 2020 Census paying us a visit, at great expense to the government (taxpayers).

Well today the employee of the US government came to our house, because "we never sent the form in".

Wait.

What?

We filled that thing out, and mailed it in, late last March.

So I had a real nice time not giving the US Census Taker answers to his questions, or at the best giving ambiguous answers.

After all, I already filled the form out and mailed it in.

Months ago.

Hope they don;t cross reference your answers when they find the form.
