I remember watching it when I was young guy and doing my own 'take', which BTW wasn't bad at all.
Eventually, I did the 'robot' around my very young children.
I hope, it did not have a lasting impression on them.
They seem to be relatively normal 30 something adults (age, not numbers) and for the most part, to their good fortune, have taken after their mother....and also taken up residence elsewhere.
