Hey, if some zit faced kid can figure them out, we shouldn’t have any trouble making them work for us.
Nowadays even my doctors now, for the most part, seem to be zit faced kids, but they're smart zit faced kids.

My last VW Beetle was a 1969 I drove in the years '69/'70' I was a very young man at the time, fancy free and going out with a couple of different young ladies. When you're young, you kind of like the close quarters an old air cooled V-Dub affords.

Not only that, the mRNA technology used in this Vaccine I believe has never been used before so tooling up manufacturing to support the new process is not simple. That said, it is possible and I believe Western Canada is supposed to get such a facility? I could not find an article to refer to...
Think a company in Alberta (Calgary) that maybe ramping up.

But limited on space for some activities, unless you're both gymnast.

Cop pulls over a young guy driving with one hand on the wheel and his other arm around his girlfriend.
Cop says; Don't you know you're supposed to do that with both hands?
Yes sir, he replied, but I have to drive with one of them.

Quite right....

Wasn't the '60's and '70's the time of the van craze. And to think, for alI these years I thought that back then, young guys had customized vans because they wanted to have a sharp looking vehicle.

I dunno, you’ll have to ask them that question.

Maybe it has something to do with the 571 horses at the wheels.

Some might remember my post about a NZ couple planning to move to the USA so they could afford the same cancer drug I'm taking, Tagrisso.
The husband was his wife's caregiver and he had joined a FB group called Tagrisso (osimertinib) Patients & Caregivers.
Sadly, he posted yesterday that his wife had passed away. Not sure if they ever moved here, his profile still shows NZ.
It is a wonder drug, but it can only do so much, and work for so long before alternative measures must be taken.

Heading to 60F (15.555C) today. Grilled dinner yesterday, might grill again today.
Pretty sad to hear. I think our drug buying agency (Pharmac) is under a lot of pressure to fund Tagrisso but I'm not sure where it is in the approvals process. Until then, it will cost lots because that's what the drug companies sell it for unless they get a bulk order from Pharmac.

The ultimate sleeper-mobile ! I had three stock VW Beetles , mit air cooled engines from the '60's, in the '60's. My '61, '64 and my '69.

The '69 was a 1500cc 4 cylinder, boxer four ...stock, except for some minor exhaust pipe mods (taper tips) .

I took it out to the drags. I stopped the Chrondeks @ 19.4 seconds @ 68.5 mph...which wasn't bad for a VW. But I drove like a kamikaze pilot back then. But even so, the V-Dub was about the slowest car on the track . It was no '70 Nova with a L78 375/396.

Watching that video was very impressive from the quality of the car build to the performance. 517 HP in a car that came stock @ around 50-55 HP. Just demonstrates how much you can improve acceleration when you plug in an engine with around 10 times the original power. All about power to weight.

I have used breakout rooms which are quite different. They put you in a room with the other people in that room, but you cannot see who else is in the other rooms.

SpatialChat allows you to see who else is in the entire group, and the move your avatar near the people you want to talk to but see who else is around. This is very like being in a big room event in flesh and blood.

I see that older plane has Pratt & Whitney engines. The FAA has grounded all 128 of that airplane model fitted with those engines, pending inspection of all Pratt & Whitney engines on them.
Heard that on the news here.

Where I worked in Australia there was an IT support person I referred to as “the pimply kid”. He was that young.

And the only solution he offered to almost all problems was “rebuild your machine”.
