Don't mind me, but how do you tell?
Coz so far, i "think" i've never had an issue with pTTL bounce flash(Metz 52) on my K30.. Everything seems to be what i would expect it to be; more power, just dial up FEC and so on..

Could you kindly elaborate? Or maybe point me to an existing thread that already describes the problem in detail?

AF speed/reliability and video.

I'm using my K20D at 10MP, so you can tell I'm not really interested in 24 MP. For the record, Nikon users are constantly complaining about their lenses how, because they realize they often cannot take advantage of that 24 MP sensor. I expect to hear the same around here soon enough.

If AF sees no big improvement from the K-5 ii, I'll probably buy that one soon enough. If the AF is indeed a real and true improvement, I'll probably wait and get a K-3 eventually.

I had issues with overexposing and strange behaving K-5, then K-5IIs was slightly overexposing (I could deal with that with highlight correction on, and it was easy recoverable in Lightroom), then after one of the firmware updates (I don't remember which one exactly) everything was fine on both cameras. They are pretty accurate and reliable now.

I am probably most interested in the Flu Card wireless live-view abilities, however this is very much dependent on what the framerate is, what the batter hit is and how much input lag there is.

BUT this could be really awesome for macro stuff.

People who need serious HD video have moved over to other brands, so it makes sense that the people still using Pentax don't view this as a big deal. It will be important in attracting new users from other systems.
Yup. I shoot video with Panasonic but prefer Pentax for stills. Hoping the K-3 is good for both.

Larger sensor size ? Larger than APS-C ? 60fps video recording ? Not in 1080p like many other cameras.

I saw 1080/60i in the spec sheet and thought that was a mistake. Who does interlace or has an interlace TV anymore. I was glad to see that go years ago.

1080i is typical TV broadcasting standard. And the most important for filming is 24p anyway.

How so? 60p and faster is great for slow motion.

Panasonic GH3, G6 and many others. 60p is much more demand today than 24p and most cameras with 60p also have 24p.

There is a lot of countries where 25p is typical tv frame rate. And a lot of tv sets that can display 24p. And the most important thing to get a film look is not a frame rate itself, but 180 degree shutter associated with it - every frame should be exposed for ~1/50s. Even if you convert to a different frame rate, the motion illusion, caused by the amount of motion blur on each frame is going to be similar.

I would like to cast a vote for the limited edition silver package. The other features are all nice, but without the sexiness, I'd probably save my money and stick with the K-5IIs.
