Pentax K-3 Review - many samples

Russian test of Pentax K-3. Photos and video in low light conditions...for me it's fantastic

Nice tests of the AA filter system as well... doesn't seem to be much of a hit in sharpness, but then I can't see where they say what firmware they are using.

A sharper lens than the 18-135 would have been more informative but it looks promising. I see a mention though of the AF speed not being too fast. It's got to be a lens thing though surely.

Sigh. Pls refrain from directly posting in-line 6000x4000 pixel, 10 MB JPEGs.

It kills people on slow web links, and kills the layout of the thread.

Linking to the reduced graphic that Ricoh themselve use would be better.

Does rather slow this thread, and I like storks...just trying to push over the page.

That looks like close to 3200 lw/ph with a lens that's far less capable than the Sigma 70 used by Imaging Resource. Way over D600 range and getting up close to D800 range... that makes one both hopeful and suspicious, it looks to good to be true.

The DA*300 can be a very sharp lens, if shot well. I remember how my first images from that lens with the K-5 had me thinking I had accidentally over-sharpened my output JPEGs, even though I was using the default Lightroom sharpening settings.

I am not surprised to see it apparently working very well indeed with the K-3.
