Really liked the way they shot this video. The music and tone of the photographer speaking was very well done.
Now if I can only do that myself....=)

I hope they publish a behind the scene video so I can see how they shot it.

Nice stuff Ricoh! I am just very thankful that this guy (with his long and impressive client list) is way out in Denver where they haven't yet learned that you can't get great work or be a Pro without a FF camera. I guess up in New York City, no one would even talk to Pentax about a non FF commercial?

Regards!

I think Ricoh is doing the right thing by focusing on APS-C. By leveraging Pentax's existing strengths, they have a much better chance of successfully competing against C&N. (Don't forget that Nikon has seemingly abandoned the high-end APS-C market, as Thom Hogan had stated, so Ricoh is aiming at a significant gap in the market.)

Now do the same thing with others....

Excellent promo. Now do the same thing with other photographers making other kinds of photography. For example, Ben of Fullerton Images (a Pentax user and member of this forum) is in Boulder. Ricoh needs to get him to use the K-3 doing the outdoors photography he specializes in. Heck, if Ricoh wants to mend a fence, they'll get Ben Kanarek to use the K-3 doing fashion photography in Paris. Get a Pentax pro to use the K-3 with wildlife, with sports action, and so on.

Spread the promos...

Give the famous squirrel shooter, old Rupert, a K3 so he can spread the word that the K3 is "Otis endorsed"?

Hey, it's worth a try!

Regards!

And if they give (not lend) me a K-3, I can do a promo on the kind of photography I do best....bad photography. But hey, even a good camera makes bad photography a breeze. ;-)

This is amazing. Video seems to be on great level for my usage(lot better than K-7). Camera is also looking like a machine. What's not to like!

So, perhaps this can be a marketing slogan: "I do it 8.3 times per second...."
