Thanks for sharing this commercial. I'm both excited (because a K-3 is in my near future) and almost stunned because this is probably the most professional piece of camera advertising for Pentax that I've seen in too many years. A working photographer using the K-3 and showing highly functional capabilities of the tool. Imagine!

Hmm...

Professional press release, with links to more info, reviews and with a tie to the Colorado Ballet. And material from that will be used in a future marketing campaign. Pushes lots of buttons on many levels.
What's not to like?

Well done Ricoh!

"Wow" indeed. Proper and well executed marketing material, using a high-level professional photographer?

And they even shot the video with the K-3, unlike in the past when we've seen Canons shooting Pentax promo stuff...

They shouldn't make ads like this one. I've decided my K-5 is all I need, and it's not fair of Ricoh to shake the foundations of my decisions. Foul play, it is.

Good thing I have a vacation coming up shortly, three weeks off-line, safe from the temptations

But seriously, this is just one more thing to confirm that Ricoh is serious in their commitment to Pentax. I like

The video is excellent. I hope they promote it, and do more in the future.

Well done Ricoh!
And some dude here last month insisted Pentax should be in New Jersey or New York with all the other camera companies because it is near a port and that is where all the action is.
