Ricoh email on K-3 points to Imaging Resource review

I just got an email from Ricoh pointing to the Imaging Resource initial review of the K-3:
QuoteQuote:
Unsurpassed user flexibility and the most advanced DSLR in our line, the newly released PENTAX K-3 is already gaining buzz amongst photo enthusiasts. The experts at Imaging Resource call the K-3's technology revolutionary - "It's not often that we label an imaging technology 'revolutionary', but if ever one deserved to be called such, this is it."
This is definitely a good sign. It shows that Ricoh is working hard to market the K-3.

In context, this is the actual quote from the review:
QuoteOriginally posted by Imaging Resource:
Bottom line. It's not often that we label an imaging technology "revolutionary", but if ever one deserved to be called such, this is it. It's a fundamentally different approach to anti-aliasing, and one that appears to have surprisingly few downsides associated with it. For the first time ever, there's a camera on the market that lets the end-user decide when they want a low-pass filter, and when they don't, with little apparent penalty regardless of their choice. And it was Pentax that brought it to us.
Questions, comments, or concerns?

Well, I signed up for the Pentax mailing list a few years ago. They don't send emails very often, so why not?

In the video the continuous AF demo left a bit to be desired, gave the impression you can use it only for approaching zombies
Looking forward to seeing it perform in sports situations.

The idea was that the photographer was choosing an AF point. Whatever the case, it is easily the most powerful camera Pentax/Ricoh has ever made.

Yeah, that press release felt, well, professionally done, and in general the US marketing efforts have been, well, less than professionally done. Almost sobering in that this was a polished, coordinated marketing piece. Suddenly feel like Ricoh is taking this whole camera thing seriously

Curses! That video has not diminished my desire for a new K-3 in the slightest. Terrific photos by AB.

Lovely photos! I feel as though this camera is going to take a while to drop in price, unlike Pentax's previous releases...

I loved hearing that shutter fire away quickly. I hope this time the quoted fps rate is a usable rate in AF-C. I know I never get 6 fps with my K-5 when I really need it.
