K-3 User Reviews

I know the K-3 only started to arrive in user's hands yesterday but I'm excitedly awaiting Pentax Forum member reviews. I keep obsessively checking the forums to see if someone has posted what their impressions of it are.

I really want to hear how those of you who purchased the K-3 like it.

Haha same here!

I'm also sitting in front of the window and anxiously waiting for Canada Post to deliver mine.

A few more hours and it should be here. Time to charge the K-01's DLI90...

Same here! Not getting much work done this AM waiting for the Postie... "out for delivery" and all that. I really thought you'd have yours yesterday, Marc!

This is a good idea for a thread. Maybe it should be pinned.

Hopefully it will also include critical comments about faults and problems too. They can be useful. Already there has been a report on PF of a QC problem with the diopter mechanism, and over in another forum a respected user has had significant, uncorrectable front-focus problems with many of his lenses. Useful stuff to look out for.

I can really feel the tension in the air...on my side there is not much to wait since apparently it will take some time for us Finns to get ours... But I wan't to see images and reactions, now! Please.

So far I've read of 3 cameras that have arrived as of early this morning. Two are the ones you talk about rawr - the third says he got it but no comments or pics yet.

Doesn't look too good - 2 for 2 bad cameras so far........

The indicated expected delivery date was Oct. 31. I hoped it would arrive early as it sometimes happens, but not this time.

As for work, not much to brag about here too lol!

It's only out of a small sample, of course. But it will be interesting to see what, if any, patterns emerge once the user population scales up.

I agree! I am considering possible upgrades and I really want to know what people think good or bad!

I could have mine this afternoon, it's been loaded on the truck in Ottawa... but there won't be a decent shooting day until Sunday looking at the weather.
