I shot a wedding with the K5IIs last weekend and AF worked respectively indoors; much better than the old K5 would have fared. It was so dark indoors that during the speeches people couldn't even read their notes. Due to low light I was using the FA 77 ltd and FA 50 f1.4 which are challenging to focus. Flash exposures however were quite variable and the new K3 seems to offer more consistency with flash.

Did you work in M with bounced P-TTL flash? In my case the IIs is always spot on working this way. Simply great.

The P-TTL flash system works pretty well on K-5 etc. when bounced at 90 deg. People have been frustrated with the results when the flash head is set to 45 or 60 deg. Initial reports from K-3 users suggest it may be working in all situations now. I'm sure there will be many more users test to confirm (or not).

I bounce it around at many angles - sometimes from the side wall, sometimes from the back. The 90 deg bounce is rather unusual for me and I use that setting with Omnibounce typically - I really prefer more directional light from the side.
