And another of the same rainbow on Rannoch Moor. Not a pano this time but a 5 shot +/-1EV bracketed HDR image. DA 20-40mm ltd at 40mm. ISO 100 and F9.5.
Lovely shot... But I'm intrigued. What does taking this as a 5 shot HDR achieve that a single, well processed RAW image could not?

I find that none of the individual bracketed images carries all the dynamic range that confronted me at the time of the shots. It is only by HDR that I seem to be able to get the swirls of rain in the top left and sufficient brightness in the rest of the image. It isn't always quite thus successful though.

I was really surprised to see this.

I liked this point of view.

Up to angels landing in zion national park. a beautiful place.

Zion - Way to angels landing, up up it goes von Arne Bo auf Flickr

to my shame my hike ended here. Im quite afraid of heights and my legs couldnt handle the last part.

Zion - Way to angels landing, end of my journey von Arne Bo auf Flickr

a bit over the top processing, but for me the scenery just felt unreal when i was there.
