An unusually calm and hot day up in the mountains, hardly a ripple on the lake.

The garden and the margins of the driveway supply an endless rotation of small flowers.
K-3 - Sigma 70 macro with HD DA 1.4 TC.

Thistle seed pod.

Bee business.

So tiny I couldn't tell what it looked like with my naked eye. A tribute to AF.

I forgot to put the raw card in the K-3, so all images shot in jpeg.

Great composition and shot, polarizing invoked? Just curious.

Great colors and capture. Just curious, is this a M.E. say with 5 or 6 stacked?

Sigma 18 - 35 at 35mm F1.8 1/320 ISO100.
The shot was cropped, to have "more" snail in the frame. Due to the 35 mm max. focal length it was quite hard to get a proper shots. As you see the depth of field is extremely shallow here. Stopping down, moving further from the subject, would require higher ISO and more cropping. Click for a full size image.

I bet the bats are cursing like sailors, but since it's ultrasound, you just don't hear it..
