Oh, I kinda failed to mention the part about finance! I've just forked out on a K-3 and hope to get a NEC PA242w monitor and a new specked mac mini within the next 2 months. Maybe I could just eat rice for a few months, that might help add a 31mm to the shopping list! hehe. Its a beautiful lens. I should have never seen those k-3 + 31mm shots. Still can't complain. Got a k-3 coming with an FA 43mm + a 77mm limited here waiting...

I see some great shots here. Anyone familiar with Belted Kingfishers will know they are some of the toughest birds to get close to.

I know I can do better with this bird and I am looking forward to get rolling with this camera in the coming months. This is about a 100% crop as you can see pixel noise on the head of the bird and edited in Lightroom and Topaz Denoise. (flight shot below it)

Also, I had problems installing the Utility #5 that comes with the K-3. I'm using Windows 7.

Yes, definitely needs a V2 upgrade, and soon. I haven't had this much trouble with locking up and crashing since the launch of DCU4 (in 2008?)

Took the K3 out and pair it with a DA15..
