Very good and - dare I say it - prestigious results.
[However there seem to be a few dust spots on either your lens or sensor in images #2 and #4].

I've seen it but they don't seem to be in the same place! I'll check it up...

Partial Solar Eclipse

A shot of Thursday's partial solar eclipse. This shot was one featured in USA Today's Your Takes photo section on the eclipse. It was nice to see a caption that indicated the shot was taken with a Pentax camera. I don't recall seeing any others in that section.

Can you have the gray jay rotate his leg bands? The photo is sharp enough to read the bands, that's certain!

The guy who runs the grey jay study recognizes all the banded birds and can show you on a map where they all live and where their territory is. That's probably faster than talking to the jays. They are studied here because this is the southern edge of their range and they are affected by global warming. Although with all the tourist and birders who come to this site to feed them, it's hard to imagine this particular pair will ever die of starvation.

Very cool. Here in Minnesota whiskey jacks, aka gray jays, fill the BWCA and ange south to Duluth. Their range stops on the west at the Laurentian Divide and blue jays become more common west of Grand Rapids. I like them. Very curious and friendly visitors.
