Fantastic shots everyone! Can I please make a request for someone to shoot the milky way at high ISO's (3200, 6400 and 12,800) - I'm really keen to see how it stacks up against the K5 I have (original K5) - that'll be the decider for me as I do a lot of astrophotography shots

Aiming for something like this I took back in August (ISO6400 Pentax K5): _IGP0502.png
HI, Arsenel I would love to know how long you exposed for the Milky way shot, (which I think is great). When I shoot long exposures with K7 I find it takes the same amount of time for the image to write to the card? Love to hear how you did yours.

The time after the shot where the camera doesn't respond is not writing to the card, it's exposing a dark frame. This is the same length as the real exposure but with the shutter closed, it's used to extract noise from the real shot.

Very happy with these shots, both single frames in the 4:1 to 6:1 macro magnification range. Starting to find my stride shooting flake macros with the K-3, I think.
