I like the candid nature of the wind-blown hair. Good portrait.

kinda scared the neighbors because I was on my stomach taking photos of dandelions lol when I showed them what I was doing, they laughed and think I am weird now LOL

I guess my neighbours must be sure that I'm completly insane... When they see me I'm lying on the ground or chasing small birds. But I'll confuse them even more once there'll be a starry night and I'll sail a little into astrophotography

jgirl57 very nice detail and color

Thomas Cantwell I like the faded look of this one. I can also feel the wind as I look at this photo.

HELP.. Need Help Choosing a Lens For K3

I am in the process of buying a K3 but I want a lens that I can use for my Weddings and Portraits. I have a budget of about $900.00 Only because this will be used for my travel and backup for my weddings. I now use a Nikon D800 but need a GOOD backup. I would like the 18-135 lens but I am reading the good and bad about this lens. I will of course buy Used for both. I dont need a wide aperture lens( anything around f2.8 and up will work)
Even F4 if the lens is VERY good Image quality. Thank you

I think as a normal lens, any of the 17-70 variations (Pentax or Sigma) are pretty decent. The 18-135 is pretty good, but kind of slow on the long end with weak borders. I would add a DA 50 f1.8 as well.

Rough Grouse, K-3 A-400 and FA 1.7 TC - If it had been my friend there with his shotgun instead of me with my camera he would have been Paul's lunch.
