It's funny, you take a number of images from a number of different angles and perspectives and ƒ-stops, and one ends up being "the one" and none of the others are even close. Sometimes it's hard to comprehend. Compared to this one, second place may as well have been 10th place. I'm not really sure how that happens, but I'm glad it does.

Awesome LeRolls, you always think of the coolest things... either that or your book of suggestions for wedding pictures is more comprehensive than mine.

LeRolls - excellent work as usual. Love the BW but it seems a little hot. Could be my lousy monitor too.

You've got me expecting a lot now. :-)

Thanks Norm! I actually woke up with the idea yesterday morning and immediately texted my model buddy who does some fashion shows and asked if he could get his hands on a white suit. He had just done a wedding expo a couple days earlier and asked to borrow the suit for the day. After that we grabbed a rose from a local market. No clients involved on this one just a fun idea. Something different for me since I rarely shoot my lenses wide open unless I have good reason to do so.

Thank you John. While this B&W is more contrasty than the one before the highlights do not look blown on my screen or on my phone. There is still a lot of detail in the white shirt which was the area that I was most worried about but maybe it is a tad bit overexposed.

A straggler from the previous shoot.

That is a great story to go with a great image. Thanks for sharing.

K-3 and 18-135 kit lens. I really like this lens.
