A foggy morning... Added vignette blur on the sides to compliment fog over the hills at the top of the image.

We've had morning mist as well. Must be something making the rounds.

Shame you didn`t catch one of the hang-gliders in action, nice shot

Thanks, sprint06 - there was very little wind that day as you can see from the photo. The only glider was a Brahminy eagle that was doing a spot of hunting but the Sigma lens was a bit short to render that at all :-(

Excellent - another Cairns/FNQ resident - and beautiful captures as well. Where are these falls, Crystal Cascades or further afield?

Camera and lens?

And now for something completely different (the only way to follow such beautiful waterfall images). Our little Sheltie does agility, and it's a good opportunity to photograph dogs in action. Camera mounted on a tripod set just high enough to see over the fence around the ring, fixed on a jump where the dogs are coming forward, manual exposure, manual pre-focus, use either the 50-135 or sometimes the 60-250, HS frame rate, trigger just before the dog jumps. Notice how the Tervuren is fixed on its owner watching for the next direction.

Really intriguing waterfall + multiple springs. Good to have a person for scale. And CKC spaniels have that sweet puppy look even as aging adults.

This was taken on a morning walk trough our local moor. It was a very atmospheric and misty mood.
It was taken with the 18-135mm kit lense, at 68mm, F16, Iso100 and 1/1250 sec.
I wasn´t alone so i had to shoot what i got, but i´m pretty happy with the mood of the pic.
