That lizard looks surprisingly nonchalant given his situation

An encounter with a dangerous Australian

A brief but action packed encounter with the worlds most dangerous land snake, the Eastern Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis).

I was living up to may alias today. Shot with the Sigma 17-50/2.8

Enjoy

The first image is cool BUT, BUT, BUT however good at handling such creatures, you're not good enough. You do not get a second error. Please, LET THEM BE. We don't need another Steve Irwin incident.

OK, perhaps something a little less risky ... A Shingleback lizard (not venomous)

Rondec, that last image with the DA*55 is stunning! The sun among the clouds is so beautiful!

I am beginning to think that the D FA 150-450 is going to stay glued to my K3. I really, really like this lens.

If I come knock on your front door can I borrow it for a half hour?
When the 560 came out Pentax came to PhotoExposure in Toronto, and I got to play with it, as well as the 645D. Now there is no show, and there is no place to even hold a lens like this. My tactile method of buying is severely compromised.
