High ISOs are usable as long as the images are not underexposed. You'll see some noise in the shadow areas at the front of the car where the image is underexposed. The properly exposed areas are noise free. Just my $0.02.

I've just been coming to the same conclusion!

Edit:
Took this photo tonight at 128000 ISO, f2, 1/250 in a relatively dark room. There's definitely grain there if you zoom in, but I think it's great.

I have used the entire ISO range a little. The noise at the higher ISO grows but its effect on images seems to be image specific.
