Having some fun with the Prince of Wales bridge in Ottawa. This is on my way to work, provides endless source of photographic inspiration.
How do you know that wasn't the Once of Wales?

Or the... Wince of Whales?
... Vince of Wales?

I can't wait for more fog to roll through Ottawa, I just recently realized how amazing this bridge is in the fog.

Worst lighting I have ever had to deal with but really fun shooting these kids!

K-3 with a Pentax 16-85 from a ladder 5 rows back for this one.

K-3 and my bigma cranked out past 400mm from the sound booth. Who says the big lens is crap in low light!

Yes. It was beautifully restored and being auctioned - as I recall it was $50 per ticket with a limit of 1500 tickets, or something along those lines.

Interesting concept. Either what I have often seen, a raffle for the car with high priced tickets, like you describe, or you could sell tickets at a price like that and then that gives bidding rights at the auction which is still run like an auction. Could work in a community like a high price independent school.

Very nice picture of the car. Such a contrast tot he appearance of a modern car.

Thanks for your comments and those of others. The museum where this was being displayed had an extensive collection of MG cars, some of which I found more attractive, elegant, even beautiful than this TC. This particular car was not owned by the museum, it was an outside organization using it for fundraising and showing it various places trying to sell all the tickets.
