A couple of "leftovers" from our late-summer vacation in Vermont... Second one is a two-shot focus stack. Vivitar Series 1 105mm F/2.5 Macro plus Raynox DCR-250. (x-posted to "Show me your insects".)

The combo of razor sharp next to blur in the second one is great, and screws up my eyes, well done!

Huh, thanks, I think...? You didn't specify which photo you are referring to, but my two dragonflies were the last shots before your post... Why the willies?

Thanks! Still hoping to improve with a larger diffuser to lessen the flash highlights in the eyes which make it harder to see the pseudopupil...

Hopefully this won't give anyone the willies

A cape fox pup from our latest trip. Harsh lighting in the desert, but I think the K-3 keeps up very well - both with exposure and WB.

5 K-3 and 1 K20D images... guess which is the K20D...
A-400, AV mode, IOS 400 and ƒ8

Cross posted in the 300 plus club and K-3 images.

The snow (and ambient light) is back. We don't need no stinking reflectors or flashes.
