One of my buddies used to work at the experimental farm back in the 70s. My guess is he's long gone. I lived in Perth Ontario and worked in Ottawa, south end, so I often drove by there on my way to work.
It's an odd stretch of land, such a big swath in the city, fields and fields. I imagine it employs a great number of people, though they often seem empty. A guy I worked with had a summer job in school of shooing people off the fields at night!

I bet Ottawa has changed a lot since you were here, it's amazing how much it's grown on the periphery.

I took these tonight on a pedestrian bridge, trying to work with a gorilla pod in the cold, have to come back to recreate the second shot with a proper tripod! I quite like the first one, the texture of the highway lights with the chain link is pretty cool

There are more street lights in your picture than there are in all of Whitney.

You framed nice perspectives in those.

Ha, yeah, quite a few in town.

Thanks, the highway shot was really difficult to frame, the gorilla pod meant I had to mount it on the bridge railing, not a lot of leeway. I'm really happy with the path shot.

There was a little bit of sun....but all the pictures I took when it was out were under-exposed....

But even when you have a bad day, even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes...

Funny how sometimes images that "aren't much" are actually "more much"than images that are are "much."

It looks really good... sometimes better light doesn't turn out to be better.
