Thanks. If you took the birds and squirrel pics out this forum would be pretty empty.

New old lens

I just got a copy of the Pentax-M 50mm f/1.4, I think it's from the late 1970s (came in the box with warranty and registration cards, should I send them in?). I haven't had a chance to get out and about with it yet but I took a picture of the neighborhood near sunset and I really like the look. The other shot is up at Oahu's North Shore, with the 55-300 WR.

You are a shining example that birding is not just possible on a Pentax system, but the results can be top notch!

Once again Kengoh shows what good technique and proper equipment can produce. Should we be inspired, humbled or intimidated? A bit of all three.

Many of us love seeing & taking the wildlife shots; as well as seeing other images such as Chris'. It all works out well for whatever someone prefers.

Amen. More than a bit, on my part.

More dark, wet weather in Ottawa. I continue to hunt out shots and angles of this train bridge on my way from work. 74 second exposure, f10 with the 18-135.

From the other night, three curious lamp posts that were part of the demolished Sir John Carling building.
