Nice. A little sun certainly helps the colors! Your blue jay shot is special.

I've been experimenting with wiring up an LED light source from dedicated IR LEDs. A fools errand, but I got some light last night. The K3 is the best way to immediately test if something is visible - this should provide some interesting results with Rollei IR 400. Shot through an R72 IR filter. The K3's IR filter then cuts out most light, you're really getting scraps.

Today I took my first real image from my new to me DA 15mm limited. Hello from the capital!

LeRolls - Very nicely done. This photo is sexy, soft, and feminine. Really great.

Sunset.

Rondec: another lovely photo. As well as the great photographs you post I've always found the scenery in your shots intriguing and attractive. Could you post approximately where you are from (assuming that is where most of your shots are from) so that I can educate myself on Google maps? Thanks.

I live near Paoli, Indiana and most of the shots I take are within 15 miles of Paoli. There are a couple of man made lakes that I shoot at sometimes -- Patoka Lake is the biggest one. My 500px account is: https://500px.com/vwaldron65. I don't update it very often at all, but the photos on their have google maps locations on most of them.

A few B and W sledding shots...

The stinky tofu cook at work, all that deep frying in -15C made for a good show!

Nice effects with the fog about the pots.

Where was it and what style of serving of the stinky tofu were they doing. I have not seen it cooked outside with equipment that looks like that. Usually I see a large black wok with a draining grill on it.

Waikiki scenes

I don't get down here much but I had family visiting last week so when we weren't doing tourist things I got to hang out and live the high life in the hotel and shoot lots of pictures from the lanais. Back to earth now, though.

Thanks Rondec. Looks amazing. Great snow pictures too but hope you're not too badly affected with terrible storms I've been hearing of.

No. That all went south and east of us. We just got an inch of new snow out of the storm system. Too bad. I was hoping for four or five inches at least.

"Blizzard" birdies

Well, the wind's blowing and we have over 12" of snow so far here in central Virginia, but I don't know if it's technically a blizzard. Still, that's what everyone's calling it.

I got these shots yesterday before conditions got too bad.... taken with the DA*300mm lens. Hope everyone affected by the storm stays safe and warm!
