Well, now LeRolls has one vote for each, and a little impassioned on both. V-A-V color vs B&W, Ansel Adams once made a remark along the lines that color was just a disguise for poor composition, but then it was said of him that he was a pedestrian photographer but an outstanding darkroom technician.

K-3 and F70-210 with the HD DA 1.4 TC..

It's not quite 300, the exif says 294... it's definitely not ƒ4 , it's ƒ8, but if you have lots of light, it gets it done. When it gets even a little bit cloudy, only the centre AF point locks focus.

I usually hate black and white, to me it's often a colour photo without the colour, in that image I think I prefer the black and white. IN the black and white she looks to be almost an organic part of the scene, in the colour she pops out like a firecracker. I think the "organic part of the scene " better fits the mood of the photograph.

Thank you for the feedback. As of right now it seems that the color is more popular on Flickr. The model likes both but prefers the color version slightly.

I agree. The colour makes the image pop much better.

K-3 and 21 ltd.

The forest.

Some rock lichen

Other images from the walk.

My assistant placed the tennis ball. She thought it would improve the image. I rarely trust the photographic suggestions of dogs, but I went with it this time.

DA 18-55mm WR - Makes a pretty good travel lens. Very light and not bad actually.
